I am glad to learn that you enjoyed the visit to my school in Virginia Beach and benefited from your SiFu David Meadow's teaching.
Please be informed that Alan Lee was not my student, although we once ran a school together in New York City. Alan was a student of Lok Yiu and later learned from my SiFu Yip Man. I do not believe Alan Lee teaches differently to David Meadows. Perhaps you did not spend enough time there to observe. If you have any questions regarding Alan's teaching or do not agree with his methods you should ask him personally. I am sure he will answer your questions with respect, however, I would like to remind you that it's best to keep an open mind.
