Subject: Letter for Sifu Duncan Leung
    Sifu,
I received your five volume video cassette series
"Wing Chun Kung Fu" just a few days ago. The prompt
    delivery is much appreciated.
I have been studying wing chun over the past 13 years
and have been exposed to a broad spectrum of wing chun
interpretations during those years. I also have an
exhaustive collection of video cassettes (62 in all)
on the topic of wing chun.I wasn't really sure what to
expect when I purchased your videos. I was introduced
to a very basic example of your wing chun approach
(through Sifu Allan Lee back in 1997-1998). But your
basics were more effective than most other wing chun
instructors' "advanced" material, so I was intrigued.
After viewing ALL five of your video cassettes over
the past three days, I can say in earnest that your
collection is arguably the most concise compendium of
wing chun kung fu information available today. In my
opinion, it is the best collection of wing chun video
cassettes I have ever seen. I am usually not so
generous in issuing such compliments but your
collection not deserves it: your collection warrants
    it.
This is no exaggeration, but your videos clearly
answered several key questions I had within the system
for years that other sifus could not (or would not)
answer for me. The effect your material has had on me
has not been profound; I have not had felt such
revelation about wing chun since the earliest days of
training. It is like looking at a work of art that
you've appreciated for years, and then suddenly
discovering something within (or about) that work that
makes you understand and appreciate it like you never
    did before.
Simply saying that this letter is an endorsement or
testimonial for the videos would only diminish their
true merit. If I have any regrets about purchasing
your videos, it's only that I did not purchase them
    sooner.
Your collection goes beyond recommendation; in my
opinion, your collection is a necessity for any
serious practitioner of wing chun. And for those who
are not wing chun practitioners, your collection would
only make them better martial artists in their
    respective disciplines.
I suppose the true motive behind this letter is to
offer my most sincere thanks to you for sharing such
invaluable material with those, like myself, from
outside your circle. I can only hope that your pupils
know how fortunate they are to have you as their wing
    chun kung fu sifu.
    Sincerely,
    Randall Sugrue
Wing chun instructor and lifelong student.
    Buffalo, New York.
